Both retired, we wanted to make a contribution to the safety of pet foods and treats—particularly after the recall of ’07—to insure that our own pets and those of others received only the finest foods and treats available. That’s how we got into the all natural gourmet pet treat bakery business! We carry Canidae, Fromm, Evangers, Solid Gold, Taste of the Wild, Chicken Soup for the Dog Lovers Soul and just added Nature's Variety Instinct Raw and kibble as well as Orijen dog foods. All of our dog treats can be modified so that they are grain free or wheat free treats for dogs with allergies. Even our specialty birthday cakes!
 You can probably tell from our home page that we’re crazy about our two Schnauzers—Rudy and Max. Rudy (on the right) is the one with the big ears and our “old man” at age 8 and Max (on the left) is the smaller guy, who celebrated his 4th birthday in February! They are both rescues. We still miss our beloved 17 year old “Maggie mutt’ that we lost last year. As animal lovers we support several local rescue organizations as well as the local humane society. We supply the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia and the Hall County Animal Shelter with treats for all of those waiting for 'forever' homes.
 Our family consists of one son and one daughter, two granddaughters, three grandsons and three great grandchildren—one girl and two boys. We also have one grandcat and 4 granddogs of various sizes and breeds. Of course our grandpets are all very well fed, but you can imagine the ‘special treats’ they receive when they visit Nanny and Poppa’s bakery!
 It pleases us immensely that folks are now realizing the importance of good nutrition for their pets. We work with a local veterinarian on nutrition and special diet needs and are more than willing to discuss special diet requirements for your animals.
Family-owned and operated, our bakery has been in business over five years and is the ONLY ONE in northeast Georgia. We take great pride in producing great tasting all natural pet treats. All of the homemade treats that we produce are guaranteed and we're sure your pet will be satisfied. If not, we will be happy to “make it right.”
We have just moved into our new expanded location and it's great to have enough room for pets and people and other pets and people too! We can actually have more than 3 dogs in the store at one time! It's great and we are really enjoying the expanded space although it's filling up quickly with new items and gifts. We praise God for that.
